I woke up to the sound of a knock at my door. I groaned and said into my pillow,"Go away!" My dad yelled over my door,"You have a visitor!" I sat up on my bed and asked,"Who?" He said,"A boy!" I opened the door then ran downstairs and saw Nick sitting on the couch in the living room. He stood up and said,"Sorry to wake you." I asked,"What are you doing here? I thought I had work?" He nodded and said,"Someone took my shift." I nodded and said,"You wait here I am gonna go get ready. Just stay here." I ran upstairs and my dad asked,"Is this a boyfriend of yours I don't know about?" I nodded and said,"No! He's somebody that goes to my school. He's gonna show me around the school." He said,"Okay I trust you and remember, you have your mace." I groaned and said,"Dad!" He said,"Sorry sorry go ahead and change." I ran to my room and changed. Marie was sitting on my bed and she looked kind of mad. I asked,"What is it?" She asked,"Are you going on a date?" I looked at her kind of annoyed and said,"No! We're gonna try and get you and Annabelle reunited! I am trying to help you Marie. I don't take people for granted." She nodded and said,"I trust you Lea." She disappeared and I sighed. Boy this is not my day.
I got downstairs and I saw Nick roaming around my house. I laughed and asked,"Done look at artifacts at my house?" He turned to me and said,"I was just looking around." I nodded and said,"Let's just go." He nodded and began walking to the door, my dad suddenly said,"Hold up there you two!" We turned to see my dad with his hands on his hips looking at us suspiciously. He said,"I trust you kids. You guys can come back around 9, but don't come back too late." I smiled and said,"Thanks dad." We left and my dad waved on the porch. Me and Nick got to his old looking truck and once we were in, I said,"Just keep waving as we are leaving." Nick laughed and said,"Okay." We left and kept waving as we drove away. Once the house was out of veiw, I asked,"Where are we going first?" Nick said,"A resturant so you can get breakfast, then a professional medium to get info how to reunite ghosts and stop by the library to get info about more ghost stuff for you." I said,"This is a long list." He shrugged and asked,"Have you heard from Marie or Annabelle?" I laughed lightly and said,"Yeah I heard Annabelle's wail, it scared me to death. Everything began breaking and falling then when my dad came up everything was back in order and everything was fine." Nick looked at me confused when we were at a stop light and asked,"Do you think she reacted like that because of Marie's boyfriend? Do you think she is cautious about father figures?" I looked at him and said,"I never thought about it that way. She just started screaming because Marie was looking for her I didn't really think about why she stopped. Thanks Nick."He smiled and said,"Nah, it's my duty. I am very smart." We laughed then we realized it was a green light because people started blinking. Nick stepped on the petal and said,"Shoot!" I laughed and said,"You are out of it today aren't you?" He laughed and said,"Kind of, I am usually aware and pre-" Before he could finish I yelled,"Nick!" It was on a red light and Nick hit the breaks before he hit someone. We sighed in relief and he said,"Man, you are very distracting." I laughed and asked,"Me?" he laughed and said,"Yes you." I sighed and said,"Well you're an ass." We just laughed then I talked about how I have been finding information about Annabelle and Marie but never really found information about Marie's boyfriend. Nick said,"Sometimes it's hard to find really good information sometimes you have look through their background." I mumbled to myself,"Look through their background..." I looked through the basement...maybe I wasn't looking hard enough....
We got to the medium's office, it wasn't really that busy today. But when we first got in, a women came out with tears, being held by an older woman probably her grandmother. I hope this won't turn bad. Me and Nick got inside her office and the medium was holding a tissue probably from what happened with that lady. She looked up and said,"Hi, I am Ms. Franklin please sit down." We sat down and she asked,"What can I do for you young folks?" I said,"Umm...we were wondering if you could help us bring two dead people back together." She looked at me suspicious and asked,"Why on earth would you want that?" I said,"There are these two ghosts that haunt me and they put their lives on my hands. They ask me to bring them back together but...I don't know how to do that. Please you have to help me-us!" She looked at us, then said,"Come with me to the round table." We followed her to a round table which had a cross in the middle. She said,"Both of you join hands." All three of us joined hands then she began saying,"Try to contact both of them at the same time and bring them together." I closed my eyes, calling both Marie and Annabelle together. They both saw each other, they began running towards each other then they ran into a wall. I tried breaking it, thinking really hard but when I tried....they couldn't reach each other. Suddenly all three of our chairs flew back as if strong wind blew us. I opened my eyes and began gasping for air, and then the medium said,"Something is wrong, there is this wall not bringing them together. You have to somehow break that wall." I said,"How? I have no clue what I am doing and I can't do this!" She said,"Yes you can you just have to believe you can." I sighed and said,"Thanks, we better go." She said,"Come back anytime deary." Me and Nick left and while we were walking to the car, Nick said,"That was...wierd. But...how can you break that wall?" I nodded and said,"I don't know this is like a puzzle game that you can't solve. So many missing pieces that go places you just can't find them anywhere." He said,"Well maybe we should find those pieces." But where would those pieces be....

Chap.5
I sat on bed reading on and on about Marie and Annabelle, they all tell the same thing. How Marie was murdered, who killed her, who hid Annabelle. They all tell the same thing, they all keep yelling at me it coulda been the boyfriend. But who is he? I went on my laptop to find out more, but found nothing about him just the description Nick gave me, western, long brown beard, etc etc. Since I couldn't find information about Marie's mysterious western boyfriend, I decided to look up articles about Marie and Annabelle. They all said stuff like,"Baby Gone Missing a Few days Later Mom is Found Dead. or The Unsolved Case of Marie Hatching." I kept searching and searching until I heard a knock at my door and nearly jumped off my chair. My dad said,"Time to eat pumpkin." I yelled,"Coming!" He yelled,"Okay! We're gonna be downstairs." I heard him leave then I sighed in relief and I turned off my computer for the night.
When I opened the door, I heard someone whisper,"Annabelle." I turned and saw nothing, I crept slowly towards the stairs and instantly heard a loud wail. Everything around started smashing and doors opening and closing, it felt as if the floor was gonna fall from right under me. I fell to the ground and covered my ears then yelled,"Dad!" I heard my dad run up the stairs and everything was okay, they looked clean and not broken. My dad came over to me and asked,"Are you all right?" I kept looking around me then said,"Everything was breaking and shattering! The floor was rumbling, and the wail was so loud!" My dad said,"Lea..." I looked at him and said,"No! No! You have to believe me dad! You aren't the only one who experiences ghost stuff!" He said,"Lea, stop it. I heard nothing, we just heard you screaming and came up and saw you on the floor!" I yelled,"How could you not hear that?!" My dad stood up and said,"Lea, enough. No more of this monkey business. Go to your room and go to sleep!" I stood up and stomped to my room.
How could he not believe me?! I heard this loud wail loud and clear! I grabbed a pillow and threw it against the wall. Something crashed along with my pillow, I looked up to see a picture on the floor. I picked it up and saw a baby girl smiling in the picture playing with a dog. I said,"That must've been you Annabelle, you were screaming. What were you telling me?" I heard laughter and saw a little baby girl sitting on my floor. She was smiling at me and said,"Mama, want mama." I kneeled down next to her and said,"I know you do, we'll find her." She looked at me with hopefulness then hugged me. I hugged her back then she disappeared, suddenly I heard the sound of shoes across the floor. There was Marie, sitting on my bed, she said,"You saw Annabelle didn't you?" I stood up and said,"Yeah, she really misses you." She sighed and said,"This is so hard ya know being a mom and never getting to see your kid." I said,"I know it must be hard, you have to give it time, we'll find some way to get you two into a family again." She smiled and said,"I believe in you Lea." I smiled and she said,"I really count on you." She put her hand on mine then began fading away.
Once she faded away, I heard a knock at my door and I knew it was my dad. I knew him to well, I yelled,"Go away!" My dad yelled,"Please let me in Lea please!" I yelled,"No! You never believe a damn word I say so why should I bother?!" He sighed and yelled,"I'm sorry okay! I'm sorry now will you please let me in!" I sighed and opened the door, he sighed in relief then said,"I thought you ran away or something." I rolled my eyes and said,"You worry too much dad, you are gonna go gray someday." He laughed and asked,"Am I forgiven?" I smiled and nodded, he hugged me then said,"I am glad, who were you talking to?" Oh man, the lying train again, all aboard for your next ticket to guilty-ville. I said,"Umm.... just chatting with some friends online." He said,"Oh cool. Jamie and Jess?" I said,"Yeah them! Hey dad can I go to bed now? I am tired." He said,"Oh sorry go ahead. Goodnight pumpkin." I said,"Goodnight." He left and I sighed in relief. Boy, will I need more excuses. I closed my door and grabbed my phone. I need help.
I jept repeating,"Come on, pick up pick up." Suddenly I heard someone pick up and I heard a tired Nick say,"Hello." I sighed and said,"Hey Nick." He groaned and asked,"What the heck are you doing awake at 12 in the morning?" I said,"Hey Nick, are you free tommorow? I need help." He asked,"Help with what?" I said,"Help with communicating with ghosts." He said,"Sure I am free tommorow. Meet me at the library whenever, I have a morning shift so I'll be there." I said,"Okay bye and thanks for helping me." He said,"Bye, can't wait." I laughed and said,"Okay bye." He hung up and I smiled after the call. Okay Lea, this is supposed to help Marie and Annabella this is not a date. Just calm down.

Chap.4
"Okay, so..authors that have heard about this unsolved mystery, decided to write books about it. Like...'The What Ifs...of Marie Hatching.' or 'Missing Baby, Dead Mom.' They all revolve around this case.", Nick said while picking out the books he was talking about. I asked,"How many books are there?" He shrugged and said,"About 10, but who's counting? You can read right?" I said,"Ummm...yeah this is like my first time ever reading. So yeah." Nick just laughed and said,"Well I'm suprised, everyobdy reads." I retorted,"I don't." Someone came over and said,"That's a shame, books can teach you a lot of things." Me and Nick looked up to see a woman around her 20s or 30s smiling a friendly smile. She said,"I see you are researching the Marie case, what for?" I looked at Nick seeing if I should say what is going on or lie, he nodded his head not to and I was kind of thankful. I don't need anymore people knowing what's happening. I said,"Umm....I heard about it when I first moved here and decided to take a look at it." The woman said,"You must be the new girl that just came in town! My son talked about you!" I laughed and Nick groaned,"Mom, stop." She said,"Alright well I better get back to work. Well, I am Ms. Jackson, you can call me Ellie and you are always welcome to my library." I smiled at her and said,"Thank you so much." She nodded and said,"Have a good day and Nick make sure to do your laundry." Nick groaned,"Mom!" She laughed and left back to her office. I laughed and said,"She's a nice mom." Nick retorted,"More like a pain in the a-" Ms. Jackson stepped out and looked at Nick who mouthed,"Sorry." She nodded and went back in. He sighed and said,"Well we better check out these books."
We checked the books out and Nick said,"If you need more help here's my card." He took a card out of a pile of other cards and placed it on the pile of my books. I smiled and said,"Thanks. Tell your mom I said thanks again." He nodded and said,"Will do, bye." I nodded and left. When I got home my dad was outside wearing earmuffs while cutting the grass. He saw me and turned it off. I walked up to him and said,"Dad, I know the lawnmower is loud but it's not that loud." He yelled,"What?!" I sighed and yelled,"The lawnmower isn't that loud!" He yelled again,"What?!" I sighed and took off the earmuffs and his ears were red as ever. I gasped and he said,"I know I know but I did nothing this time." I asked,"What happened?!" He said,"I was upstairs putting my laundry in my room then suddenly in the hallway I heard this wail that was so loud you could probably hear it a few miles away! The whole house started rumbling like an earthquake then suddenly it stopped. I asked if others felt what I felt but they heard nothing and felt nothing. Just me.." Now I knew what Nick ment by wail right through the rooftop. I sighed and said,"It's nothing I hope your ears will get better." If I told him...he wouldn't believe me.
We got inside and my dad noticed the pile of books I was carrying. He asked,"What did you get over there?" I said,"Umm...history books like presidents and stuff." He said,"Oh why." Oh man, I can't lie to my dad, I am so bad at lying to him but I felt kind of confident and said,"Just to remember some facts before school ya' know." He nodded and said,"Oh wow. This is a change. First, you never read books now you are. Second, you never were prepared for school, now you are! What next?! You thinking about going to harvard!" I sighed and said,"Yeah I know, big change but it's still the same me." I walked backwards and ran into something hard and tall. I turned to see that mysterious man who saved my dad from crows. My dad said,"Oh yeah, I called Bert to see if he could check out the problem. He said we're fine completely cool." Bert glared at me then said to my dad,"Yeah everything checks out fine, maybe it's that ghost everyone talks about." My dad asked,"What story?" Bert said,"The story of the ghost of the baby Annabelle, people say you can hear her wail in this house upstairs. Investigators would come at night and be terrified to hear it and feel the rumbling of the house that they ran out with all their equipment still there.
"They picked it up the next day and found a tape of a silhouette of a skirt walk across the floor to the right then a faded baby crawling to the left. People say that's Annabelle and Maria trying to find each other to be a family again." My dad laughed and said,"Maybe so, well anyways, thanks for your help." Bert nodded and said,"No problem, well I better get going got to get more deer for dinner." Bert started walking then my dad said,"Why don't you stay for dinner?" I yelled,"No!" My dad looked at me and asked,"What?" I stammered,"I mean...umm....you...you are welcome for dinner." My dad nodded and said,"Yeah everyone is always welcome." Bert said,"Sure! I think the game is supposed to be on right now. Lakers against the Titans." My dad said,"Right! Lea you can go upstairs and do your little research." I nodded and ran upstairs with my books before anyone could say anything else.
Man what was I going to do?! My life is already stressful I don't need some smelly, mysterious man around my house! Oh well, I can't think about that, I have to think about Maria and her baby.

Chap.3
"Hey kiddo, what are you doing up early?", my dad asked as he came down the stairs. While I was making eggs, I said,"I'm gonna take another round at the town, see the school head to the library..." My dad stopped and asked,"The library?" I nodded and said,"Yeah what's wrong with the library?" He laughed,"You never go to the library. You don't even like reading!" I said,"Well, it's not too late for a new start." He sighed,"That's true. So what are you going to the library for?" I put my dad's eggs on a plate and said,"Just eat and I'll see you later. Bye dad." I walked out and while I was heading to my car, I saw a little glow on the ground near my car. I kneeled down and saw the same locket I saw in the basement yesterday. Except when I opened it, there was no picture of the man anymore just the woman. Maybe someone can help me figure out who she is with a little help with this.
I made it to the library and boy was it big, like so big it kind of looked like a high school. On the inside, it looked even BIGGER! Bunch of shelves everywhere, books from fiction to non-fiction to history to maps. There was even a lounge in the middle full of lounging chairs and tables! You could probably even fit a StarBucks in here. Anyways, I made it to the front desk of the library and said,"Hi, I was wondering if I could find out some information of previous residents living in this town." A guy was looking through papers and said while still checking papers,"Sorry ma'am, that is private stuff." His voice sounded familiar and I said,"That's a shame, I really need to find out about this woman." He sighed and looked up then that's when I recognized him. The guy from the store! He smiled then said,"Hi...umm...well this is a suprise." I said,"Yeah...so what are you doing here?" He shrugged and said,"I come here to help my mom with work. By the way, I never gave you my name it's Nick" I looked around, taking in everything I saw then said,"I'm Lea. So... can you help me with this woman?" He looked unsure and said,"Well...okay. What does she look like?" I said,"Okay she has blonde hair, usually in a bun. A long-sleeve shirt with a collar with a cresent in the middle, I guess clipping the collar together. Her skirt, her skirt, is long, almost long to the floor. It is red velvet and her boots are black and they are kind of pointed but not really." Nick looked at me suspiciously and kind of amazed. He said,"Show me a picture." I took out the locket I found and opened it, inside was the picture of the woman still inside. Nick took it then looked at me suprised. I asked,"What is it?" He stammered,"This woman...This woman is Marie Hatching. She died in 1984. She was a teacher at age 26, then she met this man we never knew who he really was. All we heard was he was probably western, but they were happy with each other. Soon, they had a baby, they named it Annabelle and she wail right through the rooftop. It became a complaint when Marie went to church with Annabelle. Soon Marie's boyfriend couldn't take so much noise, he told her to either adopt her or make her be more quiet.
"Marie told him she would keep the baby but train it to be more quiet. But a few days after of atempting, her boyfriend went on a trip for work. Then Annabelle went missing, Marie began telling people to begin helping her find Annabelle. Marie's boyfriend came home a few days later and found a sad, Marie grieving for her might-be-dead baby daughter. Then her boyfriend went mad and kicked her out because she wouldn't let it go. Marie spent days searching then one day....a few kids were playing in the forest and saw a shoe sticking out. They wanted to use it for fun and when they took it, they noticed a foot being in the shoe. The boys told their moms, their moms told the police then the police found Marie's dead body in the dirt.
"They found knife wounds in the stomach, but there was no evidence of who might of killed her. The police suspected that the boyfriend might have something to do with it but they could never find him. Some say that he might of killed Marie, some say he told someone to kill her for him no one ever found out. Just rumors and total possibilities."
I just stood there, trying to take this all in. Marie....is a ghost.... Nick asked,"Lea, Lea you there?" I stammered,"Umm....I'm....here. But...how..." Nick said,"I know it's hard to take this all in. So why all of a sudden you've taken an interest on her?" I said,"I...I have been seeing her a few nights now.... She's looking for her baby." Nick leaned closer and asked,"Wait what? How do you see her?" I said,"My dad is a ghost hunter, he sees ghosts in his mind. Somehow for some reason, I can only see them through my eyes." He said,"Oh, so what are you going to do about Marie?" I sighed and said,"I don't know, but I want to find out more about her. Can you help me?" Nick smiled and said,"Sure." I knew someone would come around to helping me.

Anyways, I made it to the front desk of the library and said,"Hi, I was wondering if I could find out some information of previous residents living in this town." A guy was looking through papers and said while still checking papers,"Sorry ma'am, that is private stuff." His voice sounded familiar and I said,"That's a shame, I really need to find out about this woman." He sighed and looked up then that's when I recognized him. The guy from the store! He smiled then said,"Hi...umm...well this is a suprise." I said,"Yeah...so what are you doing here?" He shrugged and said,"I come here to help my mom with work. By the way, I never gave you my name it's Nick" I looked around, taking in everything I saw then said,"I'm Lea. So... can you help me with this woman?" He looked unsure and said,"Well...okay. What does she look like?" I said,"Okay she has blonde hair, usually in a bun. A long-sleeve shirt with a collar with a cresent in the middle, I guess clipping the collar together. Her skirt, her skirt, is long, almost long to the floor. It is red velvet and her boots are black and they are kind of pointed but not really." Nick looked at me suspiciously and kind of amazed. He said,"Show me a picture." I took out the locket I found and opened it, inside was the picture of the woman still inside. Nick took it then looked at me suprised. I asked,"What is it?" He stammered,"This woman...This woman is Marie Hatching. She died in 1984. She was a teacher at age 26, then she met this man we never knew who he really was. All we heard was he was probably western, but they were happy with each other. Soon, they had a baby, they named it Annabelle and she wail right through the rooftop. It became a complaint when Marie went to church with Annabelle. Soon Marie's boyfriend couldn't take so much noise, he told her to either adopt her or make her be more quiet.
"Marie told him she would keep the baby but train it to be more quiet. But a few days after of atempting, her boyfriend went on a trip for work. Then Annabelle went missing, Marie began telling people to begin helping her find Annabelle. Marie's boyfriend came home a few days later and found a sad, Marie grieving for her might-be-dead baby daughter. Then her boyfriend went mad and kicked her out because she wouldn't let it go. Marie spent days searching then one day....a few kids were playing in the forest and saw a shoe sticking out. They wanted to use it for fun and when they took it, they noticed a foot being in the shoe. The boys told their moms, their moms told the police then the police found Marie's dead body in the dirt.
"They found knife wounds in the stomach, but there was no evidence of who might of killed her. The police suspected that the boyfriend might have something to do with it but they could never find him. Some say that he might of killed Marie, some say he told someone to kill her for him no one ever found out. Just rumors and total possibilities."
I just stood there, trying to take this all in. Marie....is a ghost.... Nick asked,"Lea, Lea you there?" I stammered,"Umm....I'm....here. But...how..." Nick said,"I know it's hard to take this all in. So why all of a sudden you've taken an interest on her?" I said,"I...I have been seeing her a few nights now.... She's looking for her baby." Nick leaned closer and asked,"Wait what? How do you see her?" I said,"My dad is a ghost hunter, he sees ghosts in his mind. Somehow for some reason, I can only see them through my eyes." He said,"Oh, so what are you going to do about Marie?" I sighed and said,"I don't know, but I want to find out more about her. Can you help me?" Nick smiled and said,"Sure." I knew someone would come around to helping me.

Chap.2
"So did you have a new dream about that lady Lea?", my dad asked. I said,"Haha, very funny dad." He didn't understand, no one ever does. He said,"I'm just kidding kido, so you excited for your new school soon?" I shrugged and said,"I don't know, high school never changes dad so I wouldn't know." He laughed and said,"True, true. Hey, the flowers outside are dying maybe you can get some new planting seeds and planting supplies at the store." I said,"Sure, I want to take a look at the rest of the town anyway." I said,"Okay bye dad!" He said,"See you kiddo!" I waved and went to my car. It was kind of windy out, with leaves flying all over the place, I looked at the forest in front of my house and I swear I saw a bright light. I let it go thinking maybe it's a car.
This town was kind of like a small town of Tennessee, people walking around barbequing outside having fun. Teens hanging out at resturants and kids having fun at the park. It seemed peaceful, friendly, and fun! I made it to the store and it looked kind of old, the sign with only a few letters lit up, it was pretty small, and once I got inside, it smelled like one of those old stores. I am probably being vague but you would probably know what I mean if you walked into an old grocery store.
Once I bought, all of the stuff I needed to get I came to the check out section and saw a boy with brunette hair up to his ears, brown eyes, and a small smile. He smiled and said,"Hi did you find everything you needed today?" I said,"Yep." He laughed,"Good. Hey, are you the new girl in town?" While he was scanning, I blinked in confusion then asked,"How did you know?" He smiled and said,"Nothing is hidden in this town. Not even your wallet..." I laughed and said,"I'll keep that in mind." He laughed and said,"Well, I hope you enjoy it here in Colorado. It's very nice here." I sighed."I can tell. Everybody is outside, enjoying life." He said,"That's Colorado alright. Well that will be $10.99" I gave him the money and he said,"Thank you. Have a nice day." I smiled and said,"Thanks." I grabbed my stuff and left. Before I left he yelled,"Enjoy life!" I laughed and turned back then said,"I will, enjoy life your self too." He nodded and said,"Will do bye." I laughed,"Bye." I left and went to my car. I couldn't stop smiling on the way back home, I don't know why. I usually don't smile this much.
I got home and I saw my dad talking to that strange man we saw last night. I got out of my car and ran to them. I asked,"What's going on?" My dad turned to me and said,"This man saved me from being attacked by a couple crows!" I kept looking suspiciously at the man, and said,"Oh. Are you okay?" He said,"Yeah I'm fine. A couple scratches but I'm fine." I said,"Good. So why were you getting attacked by crows?" He said,"I was eating some bread, took it with me to go get mail and that's when they attacked me." I sighed and said,"Dad! What did I tell you about that?!" He sighed in ashame and said,"I know! I know! Stupid I know but you know me, never thinking." I sighed and turned to look at the man and he was gone, strange. Dad asked,"Where did that man go?" I shrugged and said,"I don't know he was there now he is gone." He said,"Well, anyways, let's head inside so we can put more of the furniture up." I sighed, there is never work to be done we are always up and doing something. That's just the way work.
After all the furniture was all together, I began planting flowers outside. While I was planting I heard something roam in the bushes. I looked up and saw nothing, I yelled,"Hello? Anyone there?" No response, so I just went back to my work then I heard it again. I was getting annoyed, I stood up and yelled,"Okay whoever that is they better come out because I am getting annoyed!" I kept looking and saw a rabbit bounce out of the bushes. I sighed in relief and I went back to my work. Suddenly I heard a sound of a door opening and looked back at the house then saw one of the doors to the basement open. What should I do? Go in or stay out? I didn't know what to do, I just went inside. The basement was full of old furniture, it was very dusty. I saw old pictures of a family then I saw a picture of her...The woman I saw last night, her blonde hair, her hair into a bun, and her face looked so familiar....I looked at it closely then I saw someones' reflection in the glass of the picture. I gasped and stood up. It was my dad phew! He said,"Oh sorry, didn't mean to scare you." I sighed in relief and said,"Sorry I just...the door opened and I...checked out what's under here." He said,"Well, it's full of old stuff. I might sell it to an antique store. Might get enough of money off this stuff." I yelled,"NO!" My dad looked at me confused then I stammered,"Umm...I mean...well, maybe this stuff belongs to someone and they would hate for someone to buy them." My dad just laughed and said,"Okay then see you upstairs kiddo." I smiled and said,"See you." He walked upstairs and I was alone again. I looked at the picture of the woman I saw last night. I said to myself,"Who are you? No one might not tell me but I'll find out soon." I heard something fall and saw a locket, I picked it up and opened it. There was the woman and a man that looked slightly familiar I just can't recall.... I heard my dad yell,"Lea! There's dinner!" I sighed in annoyance and yelled,"Coming dad!" I ran out and went to eat dinner. Why is this woman haunting me?
After eating and watching a football game, I went to bed. I layed in bed, pretending to sleep then I heard a woman's voice whisper,"Lea." I sat up and saw the woman from last night, she was kneeling near my bed. She said,"Please help me." I said,"You answer me a couple questions." She nodded and I asked,"Who are you? Why you here? Why me?" She sighed in sadness and looked down. She stood up and began leaving my room. I whispered,"You can't leave! You have to answer my questions!" She looked back at me then opened the door and left. The door closed then I sighed in frustration and fell back in my bed. Why doesn't anybody listen to me? If she won't help me, I'll just find out myself. I am going to choice number 2, a place where you can find any kind of information you want. The library.

Chap.1-The Immortal In Me..
Hi, I'm Lea Hosenberg. I am 17, my mom died a few days after my 16th birthday. Me and my dad griefed for months then we decided to move to Colorado, my birth place before we moved away when I was 6 so my dad could do his ghost hunting job in Pennsylvania. Now we're back, our old house was too old and got torn down so we had to live in a different home. It was cool, it had a beautiful garden in the back. I felt like I was the little girl in Secret Garden when I first walked through there. It felt nice and mysterious...
"How do you like the house?", my dad asked. I shrugged and said,"So, so." He looked at me like he knew I was lying and I laughed then said,"It's really cool, I love the garden." He said,"Maybe you can plant your own plants." I said,"Yeah and I can hang out there when I feel like I need to relax." He said,"There's the spirit! I'm gonna grab some more boxes outside, stay in the house. I soluted and said,"Yes sir." He smiled and went outside. I unpacked a box full of pictures for my room and found the picture of mom. I miss you so much mom, I wish you could see me now...
Suddenly, a window opened and wind blew in. I ran to it and closed the window, I heard a crash and mom's picture fell. I yelled,"No!" I picked it up and saw cracks from the fall in it. Dad came in and asked,"What happened?" I said,"Nothing. Just...a picture fell." He said,"Oh okay here since you are such a klutz why don't you just clean off that window. It is dirty I can barely see the veiw." I sighed and said,"You give me headaches." He said,"That's my job." I laughed and cleaned the window, I saw a man standing a few yards away from the house, it seemed like he was watching us. He saw me eye-to-eye then left, I said,"That's wierd." Dad came over and asked,"What?" I said,"I swear I saw a man standing over there." Dad looked and said,"Nah, you're just tired. I said,"Yeah..yeah you're probably right." He patted my shoulder and left to unpack the rest of the stuff.
After we got done unpacking we ate and headed off to bed. That first night, that first night was one of the scariest nights of my life. I was dreaming then heard someone walking around. I got up and looked around the hall then went downstairs. I grabbed the gun just in case, and saw nobody around. I sighed then felt someone tap my shoulder, I turned to see a blonde woman with a old style of clothes. She was wearing a long red skirt, black boots, a white shirt with a collar that had a cresent on it. She asked,"Can you please help me find my baby?" I said,"Okay I'll help you." She smiled and said,"Thank you." She picked up her skirt and walked out the front door, I followed her but when I turned to see if my dad might come down, she was gone. I yelled,"Are you there?! Hello!" I felt someone tap and I sighed in relief that she was still here but when I looked it was the man I saw through the window. He looked down at me in no expression but he made it seem threatening. I screamed and my dad instantly ran out then asked,"What's going on?" The man turned away from me to my dad and said,"I was just hunting out for deer and saw your daughter roaming around the forest alone. Which is not good cause there is always bad things." My dad said,"Oh thank you so much. Lea come inside." I nodded and the man asked,"Did you happen to see anyone that has blonde hair around here?" This guys was suspicous I couldn't take my chances, I had to lie to save this woman from this...scary, mysterious man. I said,"No I didn't." He nodded and said,"Thank you. Have a good night." My dad nodded and asked,"Lea, what were you doing outside alone?" I said,"I...I....I saw this woman in the house, she was looking for something...her baby then when I followed her to help her find it she disappeared!" My dad just laughed, he didn't believe me, no one believes me. He said,"Lea, I think you were sleep walking. Good thing that man found you, you would've landed in California by now." I sighed and said,"Yeah good thing." My dad turned his head to the side and asked,"Anything wrong sweetie?" I said,"No...I'm just tired." He said,"Let's go to bed."
Man, my own dad never believes me. Only my friends believe me. My dad, he is a ghost hunter but he doesn't believe stuff easily. You have to have major proof before proving main points of why places are haunted. Will anyone ever believe me?

Okay this is my new story called,"The Immortal In Me.." It's about this girl, her name is Lea, who has a ghost hunting father. She lost her mom in a attack of something mysterious. There was no evidence of how she died or who killed her. A few years later, Lea and her dad move to Colorado. They live in this old ancient house and they suspected it was a normal house to live in. It was a big 2 story house with a garden in the back. What Lea didn't know was that it wss haunted. They lived there for like a few days then one night she saw a woman looking for her child. She saw her and she disappeared. Every night, Lea sees the same woman, a man who is Lea's new neighbor, came by to see the new neighboors. Her father didn't suspect him to be mysterious but Lea saw him different. But what she didn't know was, that the neighboor is actually out to kill her...
